The Dahle 133 is a simple hand-crank rotary sharpener which feels lightweight but is a true workhorse. It fits both standard and jumbo sized pencils, and can be adjusted to sharpen to a longer point for writing pencils, a shorter point for coloured pencils, or anywhere in between. It works well with Musgrave Tennessee Red pencils, and can do an amazing long-point on a jumbo pencil. It has a rubber padded pencil grip which prevents ‘teeth marks’ on your pencils. It’s impossible to over-sharpen with this sharpener as it will spin freely once the desired point is achieved. The sharpener has a clamp to attach it to your work surface, however the clamp does have a limit as to how wide it can ‘open’.
