Updated May 13, 2026 This is 2 inch pile height, monofilament blade made from the same durable materials as high school and college athletic fields.  Available in 15′ wide rolls and custom lengths, this product weighs .5 lbs per square foot.   Black turf is commonly used in indoor facilities for a more sleek, modern appearance than the traditional green turf.    Black is not recommended for outdoor use as it can get hotter in the sun than other colors and can show more dirt.
