There are photo opportunities aplenty, with the flower covered swinging chair, the flamingos, marble topped tables and not to mention the circus themed dishware. You’ll come away with some amazing looking pictures.
When you think of instagrammable afternoon teas, do you think of Sketch? I know I do! Everything about it screams “instagram me”! The colourful pink decor, the interesting flooring and the amazing looking bar. You could take a 100 photos before you even get started on the food. I have been told that the food is just as good as the decor. Scrumptious cakes, fresh scones, fruity tarts and a tea selection to die for. In a move away from the pink and marble that you’d expect from an instagrammable place. The Mirror Room at the Rosewood London, is a bit on the darker side, but the decor is interesting enough. All served on marble tablets. I bet you knew there would be some marble somewhere!
The Berkeley’s Prêt-à-Portea afternoon tea has been instagrammable, before people were even obsessed, with making things instagrammable. It’s an OG so to speak. There is always reason to go back. The two things missing from this afternoon tea… scones and jam! But, the sweet treats and tasty savouries make up for it.

How about having afternoon tea on a bus, whilst touring around London? It’s more on the quirky side than the instagrammable side. But, enjoying an afternoon tea on a vintage double decker routemaster bus, whilst seeing the London sights. Sounds like an amazing idea. If you want something a little quirkier than a bus tour, they also do an afternoon tea boat tour. The food looks straight forward, but I think you are going for the experience here, and not the variety of treats available.
Gin lovers rejoice! There’s an afternoon tea with your name written all over it. Ok, well Mr Fogg’s name written all over it. But still, you get the idea. Mr Fogg’s Residence in Mayfair has a classy gentleman’s club feel, with emerald green banquettes, and mahogany tables. It’s not your average Instagrammable place. However, there’s lots there to make it, quirky and loveable. If you love food, you are going to love the amount of food on offer. From a large selection of sandwiches, delicious cream slices, homemade truffles, and warm scones. There’s so much to choose from. But, the best part of all? There’s bottomless ‘gin tea’! Maybe I should have started with that?!
Calling all Beauty and The Beast fans! Here’s an afternoon tea that will look amazing on your Instagram feed. The Kensington Townhouse obviously loves a theme.
